For my final project in Wearable Technologies, we had to create a wearable of our own concept and design it to be worn by someone else. A common theme of my many of projects this semester was to draw inspiration from my friends. I immediately thought of my friend Yazmin who enjoys rollerskating around campus, and decided to make a wearable for her!
Concept Sketch- Rollerskating Disco Pants
 using the adafruit circuit playground express, when an individual is rollerskating, the accelerometer is able to detect the change in speed, and then light up the LEDs for an animation
•a second microcontroller would be sewn into the pants to appear as belt buckle and when one taps on the buckle disco music plays

I decided on denim flare pants because I felt it was on theme for the disco vibe I was going for

One microcontroller was used for the music and capacitive touch, and the other for the accelerometer and LEDS
